Q&A

A few things to know before you start.

Do I need to know how to code?

You can start with an idea instead of code. Describe what you want to make, and Dirl’s product, design, and engineering agents help turn it into an app.

What can I build with Dirl?

Native iOS apps. Start from a brief and the team plans, designs, builds, and prepares your app for the App Store. You can host websites alongside your app, too.

Which OS versions does Dirl support?

The Mac app requires macOS 26 or later, and the iPhone app requires iOS 26 or later.

Can I use Dirl from my iPhone?

Yes. Review, iterate, and ship from your phone—follow the team, approve decisions, and keep an eye on App Review from wherever you are.

Does my team run locally or in the cloud?

Either. Choose Local or Cloud and switch anytime—the same brief and project context move with you.

Which plans include App Review automation?

Pro and Max. They cover App Store metadata, screenshots, and review notes, submitting your app and tracking its review, responding to App Review feedback, and fixing and resubmitting without handoffs.

What does “bring your own key” mean?

On the Free plan you connect your own model provider API key. Model usage is billed by your provider rather than included in the plan.

Which plan should I choose?

Start with Free to try the workflow with your own key. Pro is for individual builders who want the full team and App Review automation on one project. Max is for builders running multiple projects, and Enterprise is built around your studio.

How can I get started?

Tell us what you want to build in the box at the top of this page and join the waitlist. Early access is limited.

Can Dirl deploy websites?

Yes. Website hosting is part of every plan, from up to 4 websites on Free to unlimited hosting on Max.

Can Dirl deploy backend services?

Enterprise plans include a self-hosted backend option. More details on backend services will be shared closer to launch.
